The Bushman is a fine general purpose outdoor knife. It's Spear-Point blade is the perfect shape for nearly every task that you could require of a knife. With a 5-3/8" cutting edge & 1/8" spine it is, in my opinion, both large enough for small chopping tasks such as splitting sticks for fire starting & small enough for delicate splinter-removal! The blade will easily cope with food preparation, slicing effortlessly through both meat & vegetables. The longer point also makes it great for carving.
Shown here with both the Reducing & Straight pin options. The Reducing pin model is shown with a Pau Rosa handle, the straight pin with Mesquite. The handle has an extra grip added over the Huntsman & Campsman models for a surer grasp during heavy use & for ease of use with a gloved hand. The knife comes in it's own wet-formed leather belt sheath, for either left or right handed users.
